As you arrive at Entebbe International Airport, our dedicated safari guide will be there to warmly greet you. You will then be transferred to your hotel in the vibrant city of Kampala. Day 2: Getting to the jungles of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
On the second day of your adventure, you’ll embark on a journey from Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Here’s what the day holds:
Morning: Your day begins with an early morning cup of coffee, setting the tone for the exciting gorilla trek safari that lies ahead.
Stop at the Equator Line: As you make your way to Bwindi, you’ll make a brief stop at the Equator line crossing area. This is not only a great opportunity for memorable photos but also a chance to learn about the geographical significance of the Equator. It’s a unique educational experience.
African Buffet Lunch in Mbarara: As the journey continues, you’ll have the opportunity to savor an African buffet lunch in Mbarara town. This meal will introduce you to the flavors of Ugandan cuisine and provide a chance to refuel for the rest of the journey.
Museum Tour: After lunch, there’s a museum tour planned, which can enhance your understanding of Ugandan culture and history. This is a great way to immerse yourself in the local culture and gain insights into the country’s heritage.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking
This is the day to fulfill your gorilla trek dreams. Rise early, enjoy a cup of coffee, and pack the essentials for your gorilla trek. By 7:30 am, head to the tourism office to ensure everything is in order. Meet your fellow gorilla trekking team members, receive ranger escorts, and embark on an exhilarating journey of adventure and discovery in the forest.
Stay attentive and absorb the knowledge your guides share, as you’ll encounter scenes like never before. Upon spotting the gorillas, you’ll spend about an hour with them before descending to the base for lunch.
Gorilla trekking safaris offer more than gorilla sightings. In the afternoon, join a guided community walk to connect with people who’ve lived alongside gorillas for generations. Hear their stories, songs, and even partake in their dance. You might visit local homesteads to learn about their way of life.
Finally, return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 4: Transfer to Bunyonyi
